Energy Performance Certificate for buildings
The "Energy Performance Certificate for Buildings“ project enables dena to offer tenants, property owners and technical professionals comprehensive background information and to develop working aids and quality standards for issuing energy performance certificates.
Low-energy standards for existing buildings
Energy refurbishment can reduce the energy requirements of old buildings to such an extent that they require much less energy than comparable new buildings. The dena model project "Efficient Homes" reduced the energy requirements of over 140 buildings by an average of up to 85 %.
Low-energy refurbishment for schools
For many public buildings, energy-efficient refurbishment would lead to significant energy and cost savings as well as making a valuable contribution to climate protection. For this reason, in the spring of 2007 dena started the national model project "Efficient Schools".
Heating from renewable energy
Renewable energy sources are a central element of energy-saving building refurbishment. dena informs property owners of the advantages of using renewable energy sources and supports technical professionals in the consultation process.
Contracting in state properties
Energy contracting allows the implementation of measures for energy and cost saving in state-owned properties without investing their own capital. The dena contracting project provides advice to German federal agencies when inviting tenders for and performing energy contracting.
Contracting Offensive
With contracting, municipalities and German Länder can optimise the energy technology of their properties without investing their own capital. The Contracting Offensive advises municipalities and Länder in the preparation and implementation of this.
International energy-efficient buildings
dena supports high-growth countries such as China and Russia in energy-efficient construction and refurbishment. In addition to this, cooperative projects with other EU countries provide a transfer of expertise.
